So this is a last resort but I'm sorta desperate. Today was my first day of a trip to Jackson Hole, and all was fine until about noon. I started to feel an unbearable itch on my legs underneath my boot, and after a while I couldn't stand it anymore. I went back to our room, and changed socks like 10 times but whenever I put my foot back in the boot, after about 10 seconds it began to itch again. It only itched if the boot was on and fully bucked, so I eventually just unbuckled my boots and skied around futilely. It's hell, and I haven't solved it.
Has anyone else experienced this? And if so can you offer some advice? Me and some people have thought that it could have been an allergic reaction to the first pair of socks I had on, and I'm are washing all my socks now, but it only itched when the boot was on, meaning I was fine with the socks on as long as I wasn't in the boot. So I don't think it's that, but I have no idea what it could be. To me it seemed like it could have something to do with the fact that my boots were wet, but it's never happened before and I sweat in my boots all the time. So I'm lost.
Help?
