Replying to Recommend a new film camera
the light meter on the spotmatic ive been using the past few months may have died out for good, so it looks like its time for a new camera. i dont really have any attachment to one particular system (i have a few m42 mount lenses so another spotmatic may be an option, but i shoot mostly with my 28mm and im gonna replace that lens anyways), so im open to all options. ones ive been considering are the spotmatic f, canon ae-1, olympus om-1, but thats by no means limiting.
im basically looking for something that is reliable, simple to use, and completely mechanical, but must have a built in light meter (i know externals are better but i dont always want to carry one around and check it before all my shots. in camera is convenient and good enough most of the time). i dont care about any auto-exposure modes, i will be shooting completely manual all the time. and there must be a good ~28mm (even up to 35mm) lens option (no slower than 2.8). within these parameters im open to really anything (within a reasonable budget)
what is a good option. note that this will be what i use for the one camera, one lens, one film for a year thing thats gonna happen on here
