95cm wide? Are you skiing or surfing? I would go with the riches. I used my J skis Whip-its at Steamboat last year. (90mm wide)

Go check out the snow reports on open snow and steam boat mountain cams.
Make an educated decision.

I rode a ton of different conditions and terrain at Steamboat last year including 10 inches of fresh and a couple park days on a pair of Alpha X's which are 95 underfoot.. Mounted 1cm behind centre and had absolutely no problems at all.
Granted, they have a decent amount of early rise and Armada's taper elf shoe tech (or whatever the fuck it is,) but I definitely think the Filthy's would be the better choice.
Also, kids put too much thought into this shit.. If you're a good skier, you'll be able to rip on almost any pair of planks you have. Just because you ride a thinner ski doesn't mean you can't ski pow or steeps on them. Sure, it's way easier on something that's 110 underfoot, but think back to the days of the 70mm waisted 200+cm straight skis; if they could do it back then, you can do it too.
All times are Eastern (-5)
