So me and my friend want to go out west over our college break, and get some pow, since it has been dumping everywhere this year. My main question is, where has sick terrain and cheap lift tickets. Was looking for somewhere other then your normal Breckenridge, Keystone, Winter Park. Was planning on sleeping in my car to save money. Any help would be appreciated.
The snow in red lodge isn't always great, but when its good, its real good. Tickets are super cheap for college students, I think like $35. If you aren't looking for the mega resort and high end ski town thing it is a good option, I go every chance I get.
You can fly into Denver for cheap from a lot of major airports as it's kind of a hub. Breck and all that shit is super expensive. Right now up to the 29th, you can buy two pack of lift tickets for $59.50/day. That's half what you'd pay for a ticket at Breck. Also, hotels are a lot cheaper in Winter Park
Second for Montana. Bridgers was like $50 last time I went and for how small it is the terrain is awesome. Also it's cheap to eat drink and sleep when you are not skiing.
