so ive gone through over 4 pairs of boots, in which i all got/get shinbang in. last year they were too big, simple conclusion= boots are too big. i drop two sizes to a 1 finger shell fit= massive toe bang, and still shinbang, i could have gotten a toe punch but my shops machine got "Stolen" and i didnt have time to drive to SLC. . got another pair= toes feel pretty good, massive shinbang. i do a ton of jibbing, tail/nose pressing, just constantly slamming my shins into the tongues of my boots (Roxa X face). im starting to think its not the boots, but maybe i have sensitive shins? i saw a pad type thing that you can stick on your tongues to give you some more padding. any help is appreciated. im so mad at my boot situation right now i changed my name to shin-bang. lol. looks like im stuck with that name for 30 days. any input NS, any other similar experiences? my shins have absolutely had it.

Try a touring boot it might sound silly but it might be a good option to stop shinbang, I used to have the same problem until I started riding a pair of Dynafit Mercurys with the inner lace up system on the liner that shit literally soaks up the force from impacts. That is thinking outside the box besides general park boots, just need to get fitted bruh.

funny you should say that. im in a touring boot right now lool the roxa x face. i really like it but my shins still kill me. and i have gotten fitted the last two times. :(

anyone know what the name of the things are that are like padding and you put them on the tongues of your boots?
