So about 5 1/2 months ago I fell while skiing which resulted in me partially tearing my ACL and MCL. Since then I have been training hard in the gym, having regular physio and been cycling loads.
I Started skiing about 2 weeks ago again as the docs said I should be all good by mid December. But I wasn't, everything was going well until I fell again and felt my knee pop and its been super painful ever since. I could hardly walk the first couple of days after. I haven't been back to hospital yet because I don't know if I can deal with the news that I may need surgery!!
I guess my knee was more screwed than Me and the Doctor thought and it was no where near strong enough to start skiing again so soon. As I've been talking to more people about it, I've realised it a pretty common ski injury.
So I wanted to put it out to you guys. If anyone has done the same thing and has got any decent exercises/skills/drills that will strengthen my knee up so I can get back on my skis ASAP it would be fucking awesome if you shared them to help a brother out!
