I have some 2010 k2 extremes that I'm going to pull out of retirement for a trip in a month. They have marker schizos on them. Ie. Griffons. Is there any issue with the quality of the din springs over such a long period? Will they still be reliable? Will it help if I back the dins off to zero for a month before I go to the states?
Your best bet is to just take the set up & your boots into a shop and have them release checked. No one here can safely say how they are going to release and you could end up following a bad recommendation. Save your knees and get them checked. Plus, since they've been sitting around for 4 years the bases will be quite dry and they'll need a tune too. Get it all done at once and you'll be totally set for your trip.
