im almost done with my acl recovery, so my experience based tips are:

fap as a hobby

for real tho, I'd suggest you start your rehabilitation excersised asap and do them reguraly, also start working out asap that is do even the simplest excersised with handles as improving you overall body/muscle balance will in fact make your knee recover faster, good luck OP youre not the first not the last of us on this sad journey, but if you take the rehab exersises seriously you'll be good in no time. also its a good time to learn yourself and set yourself some goals mentally, ponder on life, past experiences. one again wish you a fast and solid recovery.

Ridiculous

once you are somewhat capable of getting out to even hike up to the park in crutches get into filming and editing. Or get your friends to give you footage of them to edit. Or hell even just download stock footage and make reedits or compilations to practice your editing skills.
