i dont get why pros don't like ns lol. I wouldn't know who half of them are if it wasn't for this website and the way they promote them.
Newschoolers is free advertising for every pro skier. Why would they ever complain? And just them mentioning the site on social media is free publicity for us.

They all started on here. Right now there is a lot of people that are growing up and trying to be 'too cool' for what they tell themselves is just a couple of 13 year old kids.
When we gave the people a voice on here it really scared a lot of people and they marginalized what they couldn't control through pretending like they are better than it.
They will come around. It's hard to forget your roots.

That is why so much ski media is totally whitewashed. Everyone gets really butthurt when it isn't a constant circle jerk.
I remember back in the day working with anthony Boronowski and hearing him lose his mind because some kid called out his style on Newschoolers. Secretly I think he was hurt because he knew there was truth in the Newschoolers statement but nobody would ever say it to his face.

Same as a lot of other industries, I worked in motorsport for years and ran one of the larger sites for the mini's. The amount of but hurt and law suits that got levelled against us got silly at some points. I had one distributor actually threaten me if I told the public the flaw (actually a dangerous one I found in testing) with their suspension kits.

It's hard to forget your roots. I may get annoyed with NS at times but I still come on here to watch videos and read skiing news. I wouldn't love this sport as much as I do if it wasn't for this website, and I can never thank you or anyone on ns enough for that.

I feel like NS isn't even at its peak yet. Many upcoming pros are probably browsing these forums right now, watching videos by wallisch and delorme thinking "I wanna do that for a living". And the fact that Bishop was at the Dew Tour and got to speak on television is a HUGE advancement.

Yep yup ayah! Hey, the cool thing about NS right now is that it still is untamed. There are serious threads, stupid threads and unraveled threads all mixed together with comments from over excited 12 years olds, under cover pros, wannabe pros, has been pros and dinosaur skiing mastodons that love / hate the NewSchooler way. Remember, snowboarding saved skiing from death by boredom, and NewSchoolers brought it back to life.
