I have some skis I really like but I am wanting to get a different pair of bindings. From what I have read and seen it doesnt seem to be a big deal to drill them twice. I just want to get some validation that it shouldnt be a big deal. Opinions?
As others have said you can drill sticks a couple of times, however it really depends on the screw pattern between the makes of binding and what position you want them mounted. What do you have and why are you changing them?
Okay thanks guys. I have some Marker Baron bindings and I just dont get into the back country like I used to, so I would like to get a regular set of bindings on there.
Find a decent shop, take them in and have them check, but I have seen a fair few people use binding freedom inserts with touring and alpine on the same skis. You need 10mm between holes ideally.
