if you ski hard, you'll wreck wood cores just as fast. I ski the shit out of my pocket rockets and have no complaints

I had K2 mod x the first year they came out. I skied them hard and after 1 season they had no camber at all I was real disappointed. I got madtrix after that and they held up great..I hope the CR lab's hold up too.

^That is a good point, scratch is foam and nobody ever bitches about those.

^scrath fs uses foam and wood, foam for lightness, wood for durability. scratch eco is only wood

yeah foam sux, my 1080s lost their pop with in the first month, and they get so flexable after like a year i could bend them at a 90 degree angle

The Scratch FS and BC use whats called a THC core, or a triple hybrid core. Its 40% Poplar (wood), 40% MicroCell( Composite) and 20% Isocore (lightweight Composite). Which results in a core that is Snappy (wood charactoristics), durable (microcell charactoristics), and light (isocore charactoristics).

Salomon uses a foam type core, with a little wood mixed into some models.

scratch's are tight, but arnt the foam cores of salomons easy to snap
