I don't oftentimes get excited about movies...especially paying some exorbitant amount of money to go see one in a theater. However, this one was on my list and now I am mad.
I don't really give a shit about that, but I'm pissed that those fuckers threatened american citizens and hacked a major company all because we made a movie about their shitty leader. But the fact that the U.S. Isn't pissed about this is kind of aggravating.

Yeah, don't like this. It's the theatres' fault. I can see why they did it; if something DID happen the backlash would be extreme - "You were warned, how could you go ahead with this", etc. But my understanding is that there is no credible threat here according to every government entity that has commented on it. You can't let a vague threat by people who have no apparent capability to carry it out effectively neuter your right to free expression.
From now on, is this just what happens to controversial movies? Someone threatens to kill people, and boom, no more movie?
We cant allow shit like this to happen anymore, even if the hackers have them by the balls. No more movies will ever come out that are awesome because people will be worried about ruffling a few feathers and having a potential blowback. This is something we cant have.
North Korea probably connected to the internet for the first time yesterday. there was no hacking or threats made other than the regular ones. The interview got terrible reviews. Sony pulling the movie is 100% a publicity stunt and they will release it next week online and get major sales because everyone has been led to believe in a global conspiracy.

It's also probably the most logical thing to happen out of the entire chain of events though, because if you think NK was actually going to nuke the fucking theaters that play it, you must be some kind of stupid.
I bet you Kim Jong doesn't even die in the movie, and secondly I bet the movies absolute shit anyways.

Yup, the US government was behind the 9/11 attacks too. It's obvious because there's no way aircraft made of lightweight aluminum would be smashed to bits if it hit the Pentagon's overdesigned reinforced concrete walls at 600 mph. The rest of you people are all sheep, blindly believing anything you're told without even thinking about it!
North Korea might seem like a joke as their missiles can't get anywhere near America. But don't forget that Sony, the Japanese publisher of the movie, are right on North Korea's doorstep.

Theres no shame in NPR I listen to it a lot.
If this isn't all some huge publicity stunt by sony Im going to be pissed. What happened to "We don't negotiate with Terrorists?". Apparently we just give them exactly what they want.

hahah that was my reaction as well, it seems pretty counter intuitive for the US

Listened to part of this also, I dont have anything to say about it though, idk I live in Idaho
The thing is, and I'm paraphrasing Judd Apatow, the director, "now after all this has happened, whether people buy it or pirate it, more people will watch the movie now than would ever have before." So this is good, because when the movie is watched by millions of people around the world, they're still going to enjoy the movie, and all get to laugh at how much of a stuck up, weak ankled cunt Kim Jong Un is.

Sony isn't "we". "We" means the US. Sony is not the US, it is a private corporation, and they have never once said that they don't negotiate with terrorists.
That aside, the movie looked dumb, but I would have bought two tickets to it just to support them because of how mad it made North Korea. Also they said today that they are looking for some sort of deal to release it online (maybe netflix) so it will still come out, just not in theaters.
I'm thinking it's all a big publicity stunt meant to exploit the craziness of North Korea to salvage a movie that got bad reviews. They'll probably post it online sometime soon and it'll make a killing since everyone wants to see what's so risky about it

It really do not think that it was North Korea, even LulzSec hacker Sabu doesn’t believe North Korea was behind the attack on Sony. It’s funny because documents released under Snowdon indicate that the NSA has the power and protocol to covertly infiltrate the internet as well as manipulate, deceive and destroy reputations of organizations and countries. The operation playback refers to false flag operations, sting operations, infiltration operations, ruse operations, set piece operations, false rescue operations, and disruption operations.
I honestly think this was a psyop and they are using a problem, action dialectic to enforce more power and control or to hide some other story.
Oh actually it was just released that the CIA not only tortured but experimented on human beings as well as raped, sodomized, and physical and sexually abused prisoners at black sites during the Iraq war. Similar to project paperclip, (the CIA official conspiracy the CIA took nazi scientists who tortured and murdered human and gave them safe haven in the US, a factual conspiracy, which is also related to MKUltra.
Remember under NDAA the media can now legally enforce propaganda to deceive people but who cares.

The right wing on it’s projected 42-degree angle debunkers claim that the wings came off, which is the reason for the façades hole being much smaller in size. Where did they go? Popular Mechanics does not say. The horizontal stabilizers at 50’ in width should of impacted the façade 3 to 4’ about the fist floor. But there is no visible damage, nor is any recognizable piece of stabilizers visible on the lawn. The tail raises 24’ about fuselage. The Perdue animation shows the tail entering the building in full as if it were cutting through butter but the façade above the entry whole does not show any visible damage and the glass around the entry whole isn’t even broken. Popular Mechanics states, that all of these components disintegrated. The problem is if these components disintegrated, how could the fuselage penetrate it almost entirely. The fuselage is the weakest part of the plane. RB-211 engines disintegrated, yet are practically indestructible. They can withstand more than 4000 degrees. Debunkers admit that the engines didn’t penetrate the façade entirely, they point out what looks to be a rotor. They say that the shape is somewhat compatible but that is it. According to the official narrative it was the fuselage that cause the exist hole in the outer wall of the c-ring. How could the fuselage make it all the way through the wall of the c-ring? The fuselage is only a cylinder and it gets cut up and ground by the interior columns in a thousand pieces, so how can it maintain it’s almost circular shape and pierce this whole. Debunkers claim that the fuselage did not maintain its shape but acted almost as if a liquid!? Or much as an avalanche of snow that pierced through the c-ring. HOWEVER, The Pentagon Building Performance Report, ASCE, Columns 3G, 3H and 5J were damaged but still standing, although in the direct path of the fuselage. The fuselage could not of maintained its structural integrity at this point in its travel. The official story is redic, mannnggg
I know it might be a bit old at this point and a bit far fetched, but why did some news/media outlets publish some of those stolen emails? It rubs me the wrong way because its like publishing stolen property, and people seem to be okay with that as long as its not their own private stuff. Why are people so obsessed with information leaks, and eating up other peoples private information? That really bothers me. No one cares about privacy anymore.

Nope. Way to generalize. It’s hard to trust western news when the NDAA legalizes propaganda. Governments around the world are equally as fucked. I just question the official 9/11 narrative and take the news with a grain of salt.

Isn't there some conspiracy theory site where you can go post all of this instead of fucking up our threads with it?
