Just got back from a screening of the latest Warren Miller. I search bared (barred?) around to find another thread on the topic but couldn't find one so here we are...
I've missed several years of Miller flicks (caught them in college fo free) but thats been a few years.
What happened?
I remember them being fun to watch back in the day but now I found myself waiting for intermission and the end so i could get beers.

I saw it too, worst ski film I've seen. The editing sucked and they tried to integrate a story into it. Really dissapointed

I just bought tickets for the free lift passes lol. But it was super boring and too drawn out IMO.

Warren Miller started to go down hill years ago. I think the big problem is that they never abandon their classic platform;
1. Film riders that are mostly washed up, or never really made it.
2. Obligatory Alps / Cham segment
3. Obligatory foreign segment - Japan
4. Talk about how much skiing has changed, and how you dont know whats coming next.
5. Highlight shit that was super rad 5 years ago as "new" and "amazing" - speed skiing??
6. Obligatory historic clips, to show you that they once were cool.
7. Cheezy music
8. Voice over goofy narration, to make your B reel funny.
The best part of the movie this year was the snowboarding.
