EG 2.5 plastic wrap?

i have electric eg 2.5s, and as i was changing the lens today i noticed a little bit of plastic film had rolled off of the frame, is this supposed to happen? should i peel it off?

The plastic is so it doesn't get scratched during shipping and when it's in the shop. Peel it off.

Its probably a gloss finish don't peel it off.

i ended peeling a super small bit off and its matte underneath, so i'm leaving the gloss on. thanks
