So the rest of the world have been able to hang out in Cuba and enjoy their cigars (legally), but the US hasn't. It looks like things might be changing.

saskskierAbsolutely. I have a bunch of friends who vacation in Cuba on a regular basis (one co worker just went last week). It's bizarre to me that it just isn't an option for Americans. I mean the US has had far bigger issues with other countries (Vietnam, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc) and they don't have the restrictions that Cuba does. I will be the first to admit there is probably more to it than I understand (beyond Bay of Pigs, missile crisis, issues with Castro/ties with Soviet Union, etc), but it seems kind of ridiculous and childish to me.
