yo whadup, my buddy asked me if i wanted to go with his family to whis for christmas. i couldnt really say no.
gonna be my 4th time skiing whistler.
so im just wondering what the conditions are like? are you able to ski all the way to the bottom or do you have to download the last lift?. also how is the coverage? how are the parks?
so im going the 22-28th and I'm expecting it to be an absolute zoo because of christmas and all the tourist like us.
but how bad really is it during christmas? ever time ive been there has never been any real lift lines just like at my local mountain (louise)
also i really wanna ski some more big mountain and cliffs this time. i know youre not gonna share your secret spots but if you could tell me some kinda well known areas that are still more local known that would be dope. if you wanna pm me thats all good.
if you wanna shred let me know. peace.

i was up sunday. they just opened upper mountain, coverage was ok, they have only officially opened the ski out to the village from whistler (no ski out on blackcomb, or creekside) should not be way too busy expect lift lines from anywhere between nothing to 45min. if your looking for terrain check out this site 3dwhistler.com its got some runs named with descriptions that aren't on the regular trail map, there is also a guide book that you can get from any of the main shops in the village i think its called like advanced expert guide book or something. It is very detailed and its probably worth what it costs. the park should be just fine around ten they already have maybe 30 features up.

Heading up this Thursday but so far I have heard it's been not the best conditions, last year it was pretty brutal most of the break. Some more snow in the forecast though so hopefully we get some better coverage. I don't think the slopes will be insanely busy until the weekend, mostly the village and hot tubs will be packed during Christmas!! My favorite place to shred is in the Crystal zone on Blackcomb, lots of awesome different spots to find and explore(just don't end up in the creek)
