Flylow oven mitts

Alright so at my home mountain there are only ropes and I've destroyed like 10 pairs of gloves already this season. My friend told me to buy Flylow oven mitts, so I looked them up and they are 40 bucks. That's a little steep for gloves so I was wondering if anyone else has bought them and whether they are actually good quality and can stand up to a whole season on the rope?

$40 isn't that bad for mittens dude, just make sure they won't get torn apart also

If you find $40 expensive for gloves, the issue is that you're buying shitty gloves.

$40 is pretty damn cheap.

What's the liner made of?

I hate mittens with soft/fuzzy liners cause they get all sweaty and drying them takes forever

I have a pair from a few years back, still use them every day. The liner is definitely soft, but not too fuzzy and feels like cotton. The only thing that isnt my favorite is if they get really wet the dye will leak through onto your hands and turn your skin orange. That only happened to me once in Oregon and it was pretty much raining.

That being said, I'm not sure anything can really hold up to a rope tow for a whole season.. you might be better off with some work gloves from WalMart or something.

I've never understood those work style ski gloves flylow makes. Kincos are cheaper and better.

The foam covering on the inside coupled with the tight fit of the wrist make them great for blowing a quick load! Im saying this from personal experience!!!! Also great price, so much cheaper then pocket pussies!!?!?!

I have my own home brew version of these as its silly to ship them to the UK, used our version of the same glove and baked it myself. Best gloves I have ever owned and it cost me $10 all in, they have done a couple of seasons and I use them at home all year too for DIY etc.

Get heavy waterproof Kincos for like $15. They'll last longer if you're worried about ropes shredding them, and they'll keep your hands toasty as fuck.
