Burton Outwear

Hey guys whats up,

Curious as to what you guys think about skiers wearing non ski specific outwear for example DC or Burton etc, personally i wear armada and saga but I'm not opposed to wearing non ski specific outwear, what are your guys thoughts on the matter!

I hate it when people bitch about skiers wearing burton or volcom or shit like that. It functions exactly the same no matter what you strap to your feet.

Not sure if you've actually skied the Canadian Midwest, but there are a lot of skiers that would wear Burton and other snowboarding brands and no one cares.

Especially in rural Saskatchewan/Manitoba, it's way easier to go to your local skate and snow shop and pick up outerwear than to order actual ski brands online (which, more often than not, is the only way to get them up here, especially if you're too young for your own credit card and rely on your parents).

Hell, just the fact that you've found someone else shredding on twin tips is good enough for most people here. Outerwear is pretty irrelevant in the Midwest.

No issue with it. When I first got back into skiing a bought a Burton shell because it was cheap, reliable, and looked good. Still use it all the time to this day when I go out and ski.

No one cares at all. I rag on my cousin for wearing burton pants, but that because he's my cousin and we do that kinda shit. No one is going to judge you for waring burton at all. However, being a skier, its nice to support skiing brands when you can because those are the ones who give back to the industry, especially some smaller brands that make quality clothes, like Trew, Flylow, Strafe, etc.
