but you could take any religion and adopt it to your own extremist views. Look at Christianity and the westbro baptist church or the KKK. Isis and other extremist groups don't represent Islam in any way. The media shouldn't even label them Islamic. Isis has killed other muslims, for not agreeing with their extremist views.

Yes. It frustrates me that any religion is used as justification to do harm when 99% of religions are supposed to be about peace and being a good person. I mean I'm personally not a fan of religion at all. And religion caused me far more harm than good. Then the barrier of religion in between you and family is always lovely. That said I have plenty of cool religious friends that do their own thing and that's all good.
Religion has been the basis for murder, but it's also been the basis for some good charities. I could go on with the comparison thing but really not that exciting.

Well I'm not just reffering to current times. I'm also reffering to things like the holy inquisition, for example.
The issue I have is that people will kill thousands of innocents because "their God says its just." If you get killed because you have a pound of coke, or you fucked a married women you yourself are creating the reason of your death by being in those situations.

The reason that Islam gets singled out in modern history is because there are more Islamic extremists that do psychotic shit and kill people in the name of Islam. It does not mean that every Islamic person is psychotic. There is a guy in my locker row who is Islamic and I don't worry about him putting an IED in my locker or beheading me in front of a video camera. He's a great guy. I just wish that more Islamic people like him who do not believe in what the extremists are doing and are not psychotic, would speak out more against these fundamentalists.

That couldn't be further than truth. I did however post statistics and facts which show a clear correlation between the police and racism. I never made the conclusion that all police are racist, nor did I make any conclusion that stereotyped all police as racist.
