The angles between the cameras are really big, for 3D you only need a much smaller angle correct?
Also if you stitch these images together you'll get weird angles / changes between the separate images?
I'm lost..

Ok, so that makes soo much sense for VFX guys, plates are a huge pain and that would be brilliant, I still don't get why brain farm needs it though, I hope they don't get too much into the VFX game
Considering manufacturing costs and wild speculations an Arri 65 with it's data vault could be even more expensive then that entire setup, then again it's rental only for that very reason that no one can possibly afford it. For that it shits out a what we can only assume to be most glorious uncompressed 900mb/s 6,5K raw file.
