Why do pros paint their FKS?

Lately I have seen TYW, one of the people in Gavin Rudy's preseason video, and other pros using FKS that look like someone tried to put black krylon ro silly string on them? Is this to prevent the bindings from being the focal point of a picture? Or is it for some other reason? A pic of this is at the bottom of this link's page.

it could be wear from stomping on them with boots or bases of skis to get out of the binding and having the bright orange paint just kinda wear off. In that picture only the place where you would stomp on them is black.

Or cuz advertising and shit

It started with simon and blunck... head must have wanted them on the new tyrolia/head attack binding... but simon and and Aaron probably didn't like them so up before the olympics they switched and painted them black b/c of their head/tyrolia sponsorship... Riddle does the same thing b/c of his atomic sponsorship. I'm not really sure about torin, there is a tyrolia/armada relationship but I never thought it was that big of a deal as opposed the companies who make both skis and bindings.

Oh yeah, so many of you kids are big fans of the bright orange color which is why so many of you rep it so hard.... you kids will support anything if I'm against it, won't you? OK, I hate Hitler. He was terrible.

Yeah, it makes sense doesn't it? If a lot of people like the color then a lot of people are going to support it. We don't support it because you are against it, you are against it because we support it.. See there is this thing called popular opinion, and you just so happen to think the opposite of everyone here and feel the need to tell everybody that if their views are wrong. Why do you even care if they are orange and if we most of us like it that way?

You seem awfully argumentative and resentful towards most of the users here, and it's your own damn fault. Get over it

Rossi FKS bindings aren't made by Rossi. Just like Rossignol boots are made by Lange, Rossignol bindings are made by Look.
(Look + Lange + Dynastar = same company)
Rossi FKS binding = Look Pivot binding
Also the new season FKS 140's can come in black and Look pivots come in green or silver.
Hence why you may be seeing "Rossi" FKS bindings in different colours.

Or you're just a bitch? Ever think of that? You don't see too many kids running around wearing bright orange suits, do you? I only know of one skier that did that and even he hated the FKS' prison-bright orange jumpsuit color.

Dude, just get lost. If people like the color orange bindings, then so be it. Maybe you just shouldn't be jealous that they don't make the bright orange fks in your din range (which is 4.5)
