Replying to Poopy Boots

So, earlier tonight I was out skiing dry slope in my friends backyard. It was pretty dark out because all we had was a small light that was shinning on the rail so I couldn't see the grass that well. With my luck I happened to step in my friends dog's poop. I noticed a bad smell and when we walked back to his garage I looked at my boots and sure enough, there was poop all over them. I went to clean them and things got real messy real quick, needless to say does anyone have some good methods to get poop off of boots and more importantly, how to cope with depression from getting doggy duty all over my brand new full tilts.
