Harry_TwatterWent to my local ski shop to get my bindings adjusted for the upcoming season after putting on some off season poundage. My shop set the DIN at 10,would you say that's right?Im asking because it was a kid who just started working there who did it and I'm not 100% sure about trusting him.
Height 5'10
Weight 195
Boot 265
ability 2 closer to 3
Binding marker jester
Any input would be super appreciated
Whoa! 10 is WAY to high! You should be a 7.5. Your Boot sole length and weight combined should really never be pushed past that number. You can get away with an 8, but just be warned that is pushing it.
http://www.dinsetting.com/dinchart.htm Refer to that link for more questions. The general rule of thumb is use weight and BSL, and that's what you should be as a beginner. Go directly down 1 for intermediate, and 2 for expert. Oh yeah, be very careful doing all this yourself. Let a certified tech do it, and, for my own reasons, I am not telling you, condoning you, or suggesting to you, in any way, adjust your bindings without professional supervision, and that chart is to only be used as a guide. (Don't wanna get sued, sorry!)
