Hi NS


I will be staying in Snowmass for 9 days. Any must dos?


I will ski Crested Butte after I leave Aspen is there a third mountian inbetween or close to both I shouldn't miss? Will only have 1 day for somewhere else though I have to get back to the midwest for work so would a third San Juan mountain be worth it for just a day?



I decided to give buying an expensive pass on the east coast a swerve with the rain today and I found a really cheap hotel so I will hopefully be arriving in Aspen Monday/Tuesday.


What is the best recreational dispensary in the area for concentrates?

Thanks for all help and HMU if you wanna shred or dab or grab a brew!

This...Just ride the bus up from town. Buttermilk is alright, and meadows isn't worth your time. Stick to snowmass. Have fun...snowmass is still my favorite mountain. Haven't had a bad day there, ever.

Im not trying to drive at all. I just need somewhere cheap to leave my car or else the Westin will hit me with 40 bucks a night I think. Place I stayed at Vail was worse. Just wanna pay for a week for under 100 bucks.

Colorado is bad. Have to imagine Aspen is just as bad or worse. Gotta be something weekly fuck letting the hotel run me for a few hundo.

That's so shitty. Only places I know around here that do that is Mount Snow and Stratton and thats if you don't want to walk an extra like 30 feet

Carinthia at Mt Snow and Sunbowl at Stratton have never charged for parking

Yea I know I'm saying you can pay if you want to not walk like an extra 30 feet. And I think Mount Snow only does it on weekends in a little lot closer to the main lodge. Sad part is people actually pay for that shit

What the fuck? The HOTEL charges for parking? That's absolutely absurd. Thanks for reminding me why I avoid CO.

Park at the rodeo lot at the bottom of snowmass. Right outside the rec center and next to the skatepark. Its free, and I've left my car there for multiple days. The 10 minute shuttle to the snowmass mall is a pain with a bunch of bags but better than paying for parking.

Fuck yah. Vibes man appreciate the tip just what I came to this thread for.
I'll probably fly and rent a car in Denver for 1 day and return it within a couple hours of getting to Aspen but Im glad I know where I can leave one for free now. I really dunno if I want my friends coming and to drive me out I kind of have to decide in the next 20 mins if raging solo or in a crew is best or not. (They aren't great skiiers.)

Don't buy from dispensaries in aspen. Go down-valley to either Carbondale or Glenwood. Its only about a half hour drive but you will save a lot of dough and get some dank shit.

Most of the sick stuff to hit there needs a good amount of snowfall to have any sort of coverage and judging by the lack of natural snow in December, you will be on a lot of groomers. If by chance the cirque is open, lap that and if hanging valley is open spend a good amount of time exploring that. Aspen also has free busing so take advantage of that. Also don't just stay at snowmass, your pass is good for all of the aspen resorts. The bell areas of Aspen mountain is hella fun and the temerity at aspen highlands is super steep and just damn fun. But definitely bring some rock skis if you are gonna venture off trail because you will hit shit.

Yeah my skis are at the right point for a rock trip Im bringing 2 pairs that have given me 3 years of use I don't own any skis at the moment which I'm precious about.

Tuesday is the first day I ski and Im hopefully getting a few inches Wednesday with the whole week pretty cloudy at least so it shouldn't be too bad. Little worried about the cost adding up but I have a direct flight in and my hotel is ski in ski out so I think I'll be good getting around and going to the other mountains its just the uh...cost...lol.

Just skied highlands today op. A solid fresh 5 inches all around the mountain. It's been snowing pretty much all day and were suppose to get another 3-5 tonight. Forcast for wenesday and thurs is more snow.
