Wider park ski

Yo ns,
Lookin for a mid fat park ski (95-100). I have shreditor 112s, love them (flex is perfect IMO, shape, and width). I am 6'ish, 150lbsish... Looking for something jibby, buttery, fun... Would like the weight (or swing weight) to be less than my shreditors. Skiing about 25% all mountain, 75% park.

ON3P Kartel 98 fits the bill and it's built better than all of the above.

K, ya I have been looking at them... Also 3-4 times more expensive than something like the slats... Quality isn't cheap I guess... +k.

Yo, I've been riding the Kitten Factory rayzrblaydz this season and I can certainly contest that they do not disappoint. With 95mm underfoot in addition to slightly rockered tips and tails these can handle anything you throw at it. I've been mostly ripping them around in the park but I started the season only skiing at snowbird and these were my main ski. Really sick to rip up the groomers and solid enough to take off piste.

But they excel the most in the park without a doubt. I've been on a traditional camber fischer park ski the past 4 years so getting super buttery and pressed out on them wasn't their strong point. Certainly a better jump ski. Now riding the rayzrblaydz, I'm stoked because I still get that responsive and poppy feel that the fischers had thanks to the traditional camber underfoot, but because of the progressive flex in the tips and tails mixed with the slight rocker, I can be way more playful with the tricks I do without sacrificing stability in the jumps.

I just got my batalla park reaper today (91 underfoot). May be a little skinnier than what you're looking for but they have a good amount of rocker and 91 underfoot isn't too bad. If you haven't made your mind up by Saturday I'll let you know how they do since I'll be on them on Saturday.

Aren't slats still like 500 bucks? Where did you find them for so cheap?

Definitely leanin towards the slats right now...

The shop I work at has them, and I can get them for like $175... Last years... but still.

I have looked into the razyrblaydz... seemed like a good option, it's just that I would rather buy from a local shop than order online, most of the skis on my list are available around town. Similar to the B-dog? Shape and maybe rocker seem a bit similar... B-dog I could do if it's any good...

Dude check out the Icelantic Da'Nollies. They're 95 underfoot, have a rocker/camber profile, and you could butter to the moon on these things. They're also extremely durable (making them great for hammering rails) and have a 2-year warranty, which is really rare for park skis. They're on the higher end, but it's worth the price.

Yo I got on my batallas this weekend and they did great all mtn. Handled flawlessly in 8+ inches of pow. Also handled the crud that was left behind later in the day. They rip on groomers and are sweet in the air. It's a stiffer ski for sure, but I'm also a small guy. The only thing I didn't like about these skis was super hard pack and ice. I was miserable on ice/super hardpack the first day. But the second day, once I got used to them, they were fine, still not the best, but did just fine. But also it was my first days of the season so my legs were shaky too haha. I recommend

And just for other reference, I have 2014 Chronics, and find them stiff and skinny... If that makes a difference...

shreditor 102's

i got them for my park ski this year, i was looking for exactly what you wanted and i absolutely love my shreditors, super fun in the park. pretty light swing weight for their size.

and you know you like the 112's and im pretty sure the 102's are just smaller and around the same dimensions and just a touch stiffer.

honestly i would say choose between 102s and kartels
i have 184 102's and the swing weight is noticeably lighter than my buddies 181 kartels.
102's are also a bit softer.

but on3p's are more durable.

id say going with either of these will be your best bet and you wont be disappointed

i have only ridden the kartels in the park but i would choose my shreditors over them if your want flex (softer) and swing weight over slightly better durability.

my brother and one of my friends have tried my sheditors and got themselves a pair cause they liked them so much.

I feel ya. I would say the flex on the reapers and chronics are pretty similar, but with the good amount of rocker the reapers are still more playful, and I know it doesn't make a huge difference but when I measured the waist it actually came out to be like 93mm haha. But yeah if it's not the ski for you then no worries.

Maybe go bdog, I thought those look fun

Bump. Was really leanin towards the Kartels, then my local shop sold out of the 181, so now kinda looking towards something else. Shreditor 102s might be great, as the shop I work at has them (=big discount), just kinda worried about overlap with my 112s... Thanks for the help NS.

Sorry for the dub post. Ended up getting the shred 102s in a 184. Just wondering if anyone has any input on mounting. Probably gonna put fks on them. I was thinking like -1.5...? Collins Collins said dead center on his...
