TheWingmenSpirit really should paint a line across the knuckles of at least the big jumps like once or twice a week. Duluth is plagued by flatlight more often than not so its impossible to do anything really interesting and also spot your landing when everything is white.
smoke_powderSuper stoked to post this new video featuring Spirit Mountain's main park! ENJOY!
john18061806the videography is unreal, HUGE props that was sick!
smoke_powdersubmit a video showing your best tricks & editing skills
smoke_powderNo music, please!
john18061806Ughh, for me the music choice is 65% of what makes the video apealing, it sets the mood and when a video is edited directly fit to the song it makes for an incredible production. I understand it's for copyright infringements and spirit putting out third party content but damn that really sucks...
.Rybak.You still can make it interesting. Obviously if you throw down it will be interesting regardless but you just have to be more creative.
john18061806for sure, but it takes away a huge part of video production. they should call it a filming contest, creative shots and creative tricks can over-power music choice but it still isn't the same.
while we're on the topic of creative/massive tricks, now would be a prime time for someone to try and gap the 100 footer, someone has to unleash their inner candide, nuke from the top of the hill and it might be possible. I honestly can't tell if I'm being serious about recommending this or not, but I've seen more stupid things attempted on skis.
.Rybak.my back and knees hurt thinking about that.

JustGoWithItGoing to UMD next year and plan to get pass to Spirit. However due to the extra expense I don't plan on bringing my car. I'm sure I'll meet someone eventually that I can hook up with to get a ride, but in those times where no ones available has anyone have any experience getting from the north end of town to spirit by way of public transportation? Is it a hassle?

Honestly I'd bring my car if I were you.
JustGoWithItThanks to both of you. I'll just have to see how the first semester goes and if I don't like it I will just have to buck up and pay for parking.
john18061806Is there still snow from the big line knuckles? I kind of want to ski again haha
