New Skis

Sup guys,

So I'm trying to decide on a new pair of skis and im quite stuck and was wondering your opinion.

First off, I ride Nordica Soul Riders right now and love them except they are falling apart on me and the edges are starting to crack after about 20 days on snow.

I really love the fatter and buttery style of the SRs.

I will mainly be using these for park as I have some Mr Pollard's Opus for deep days and stuff like that, but I still want these to be able to charge all around the mountain.

I've been looking at the:

JSkis Allplay 98
ON3P Filthy Rich (These seem awesome from what I Have seen)
Armada BDog
Line Chronic
Nordica Soul Riders (is the durability any better on them? mine are from 2 or 3 seasons ago)

Any suggestions/opinions would be awesome!

Skiing Colorado and East Coast, as said, mainly will be sticking to park with these

You narrowed down a lot of good skis but the only real contribution i can give is about the chronics. Probably the least durable of the skis you mentioned based on materials used and lines reputation, even though the chronics held up pretty well. I had some chronics i bought from someone (2010 chronic crytptonites) but recently sold them to my friend. Anyway they are still great condition for being 4 years old. I found them to be stiff since I'm only 5'7 and 120 and they were a 178. but my friend and previous owner find them to be a tad softer than i did since they are taller and heavier than me. Also note that the chronics have no rocker and all the other skis you mentioned do have some rocker.

I have never ridden any ON3Ps but quite honestly I would love to. From what I have heard they are really pretty fun skis to ride. The Filthy Rich could be a good ski.

Currently I ride the Armada Ar7s and they are awesome. Armada is a real trusted brand so I dont think you could go wrong with the Bdogs. They seem pretty nice from what I have seen from them.

What about the ON3P Kartel 98? Same bombproof build and durability of the FR, but more comparible to the wider platform of the Soul Riders.

Honestly forgot about those... are they more park orientated or all mountain? And whats the flex like on em?

we sell them at the shop i work at and they are extremely nice. the build quality is astoundingly good some of the best ~100mm skis that we carry. they aren't extremely flexy but have a pretty mid level flex from what i've seen. i have yet to ride them but i've ridden similar rocker profile and it allows for some amazing butters. they're also pretty light weight ill update u when i take out the demos but they really look and feel amazing
