Hi...
Heading to Geneva for a week in late January, early February to visit family and go skiing. I know there are threads here about the best places to go but I thought I would ask personally. Where should I ski? And what are the conditions like generally during this time of the year? Should I bring my Surface One Lifes or stick to my Line afterbangs, or bring both? Wish I still had my watch lifes... Anyway, any other recommendations would be sweet too. Thanks!

Well, I think It really depends on what you want to ski. I personally ski in verbier and the park is alright in the mid season, but offpiste is insane. Lift accessed backcountry that will have fresh patches for a few days after a snowfall.
To get there, your best option would be to go by train to martigny, then switch to the St Bernard line and go to la chable. From there just take the gondola up to the ski area.
Tell me when you're there and I'll come shred with you if I'm around.
Peace

The best places I know of are all in the Valais, which is pretty far from geneva: like a 2-3 hour drive.
If thats not a problem then Verbier, les 4 vallées (morgins, avoriaz etc...) , zermatt are all good places.
Out of all of them Verbier is probably the most expensive, and Zermatt doesn't allow cars inside the village.
