JP Auclair Film Tribute | Friday Dec 12th in Hadley, MA

I don't think I need to say anything else that hasn't already been said about much of an amazing skier, artist, father, humanitarian and great friend that JP Auclair was to the ski community. For any NSers out there in the vicinity of western Massachusetts I'd like to extend a personal invite to join us for some beers and film tribute to JP Auclair this Friday, December 12th at the Hadley Farms Meeting House.




With the support of PBP and Sherpas I've pieced together all of JP's movie segments from Degenerates through Into the Mind (except 13, see below) along with some random bonus edits and behind the scenes footage from filming with JP over the years.

This is a free show! Doors open at 7pm. There will be some raffles happening onsite to raise money for AuclairFund.org, including this Armada JJ shot ski that belonged to JP:




If you can't make it but want to get in on the JJ x JP shot ski raffle you can purchase raffle tickets online through my local shop, Valley Bike and Ski Werks.

Want a couple free raffle tickets? My VCR destroyed the last copy I had of 13 a long time ago, if someone out there has a good quality digital copy that they can send me I'll put a couple raffle tickets in the box with your name on them!

im not in that area but big respect for putting that together, sounds awesome. and JP is at the top of the list of skiers whose segments over the past ~15 years have been consistently awesome

also i lost my copy of 13 long ago but i know i watched it recently on down days. that probably doesnt help but it does mean digital versions exist online, and i would hope no one would get in your face about copyright stuff etc for such a good use

Any chance of distributing the final product for a fee, proceeds going to the Auclair Fund?

Sadly I have lost almost all my OG-era ski movies.

I'll definitely pass along the suggestion! I think there will be some more "organized" events going on in 2015. Stay tuned to Alpine Initiatives and Armada for details, IF3 might have something in the works for next year also...

Damn, would love to, but Hadley is out there. I've got my brother and some other people visiting this weekend in Boston too. Wish it was within an hour of here or we would've been there!

Definitely gonna pick up some raffle tix though
