Fucky ankle

I landed a 360 in June in Aus. The landy was really sketchy and I messed my ankle up. The doc gave me 2 prescriptions of pain meds but 5-6 months it's almost completely better but still not the same. I'm going to ski in Japan in January. Should I get it x-rayed before then?
