Replying to All mountain, durable, softer flex
Hey NS, this past season I rode Surface double-times. I was pretty disappointed on how stiff they were (this was my fault, I didn't research nearly enough before I bought them.) Also they have completely fallen apart so now I'm back in the market for a new pair of sticks. I have been looking at a lot of different companies but am completely lost on who I should be considering. I'm looking for a wider, all mountain ski that will still allow me to jib in the park but hold its ground in the deeper stuff. So far from what I've researched the Faction Candide 2.0, Nordica Soul Riders, and ON3P Kartel 106 look to be my best choices. Im really hoping for something with a decent amount of rocker in the tip and tail and also a softer flex. Also a ski thats fully symmetrical or close too it would be nice. I realize this is the complete opposite of what I am asking but I was curious what your opinion was about the filthy riches and if I would be happier just going with them. Lastly I took a quick look at Batalla skis and their All Mnt. Twins. While they look sick I have no clue whether they are durable, have a softer flex or how much rocker it actually has. Id really appreciate some help, K+ for any good advice. By the way Im 6'2 and about 160lbs but still growing. Thanks!
