There is always that one, two, or whole crew of rich kids that have the top notch gear but cannot make it down the hill without falling.This species of gaper also loves riding over the lip of a kicker on to rails and they are obsessed with 180's. Whats your crew of posers in your park look like or ride like or do you have any funny stories about em?

No, I think he's talking about those 13 year olds who think they're the greatest fucking thing in skiing, who beg their middle class mothers to buy them gear because it'll "make them better".

Is that who you want representing the progression of the ski industry? Or the die-hards who can rip anything with their 2011 gear?

Like it or not, the ski industry really needs both, moreso the former. Ski culture needs the latter to stay tru to itself.

Being in university with a full course load, it's hard to be able to afford lift tickets alone nevermind brand new gear every year.

I'll still be rocking my original TC's this year again. Mind you, they probably don't have more than 20 - 25 days on them in the past two years anyway (again, uni is pretty time consuming).

It's not that I don't want to support the ski industry; it's that I'm worse off than them at the moment haha. That being said, I did order a new Virtika suit because my outerwear was getting dated. (shoutout to Virtika for killin it in these streets too)

If little kids want their mummy to buy them new gear, let them. Why does it bother you if they're wearing brand new Saga, Line and Full Tilts? At the end of the day, you're only hurting yourself by being bothered by "gapers". Just blast music, ski and don't worry about anything.

WHO THE FUCK CARES. Spend less time thinking about what other people are thinking of you or caring what other people are doing and just enjoy skiing. They are supporting the industry which allows those companies to expand and do cool/innovative shenanigans. Last time I checked there weren't certain prerequisites needed to buy certain gear.

I only feel sorry for kids who gaggle up together and mope round sporting the park uniform of Line/Saga/Full Tilt. They're rarely having any fun and they're afraid to step out of line and lose the acceptance of their peers. Its their loss.
