Best skiing college

I'm in high school. What are the best colleges with close or good skiing hills? which ones are the best/your favorite?

Tufts University in Boston. We're building up our ski program through the mountain club right now. Get super cheap ski passes to lap Waterville and Loon's killer park, get free touring rentals to go backcountry skiing and it's all super accessible by staying at our Lodge right in the White Mountains.

Well it depends if you want to go to a decent school or just want to ski. A lot of ski schools are pretty mediocre schools academically speaking. Its really down to what you want to get out of college.

Saint Mikes in Burlington is definitely a very underrated college for skiers. Ski Club gets deals to most of the local shops plus does day trips to jay including lift/waterpark pass. Rail Jams every year. Most kids ski Stowe, but the school offers a pass to smugglers notch for $60.

Small schoool, around 2000, very familyish type vibes. Incredible academics with solid professors that love getting to know the students.

UNR, UVM, UU. Can't go wrong and all are respectable and you won't find anything better near skiing other than maybe Dartmouth or one of those NESCAC schools.


If you must attend a more prestigious university and those aren't good enough for you but you are too dumb to get into Dartmouth (most of us are no big deal just accept it) GROW UP and do not bring skiing into the equation when you pick a school just plan on skiing at winter and spring break.

Make sure your parents let you bring a car if you want to ski a lot too don't go to a sick skiing school without a car you will hate not having one park that shit off campus if you must.

it's dope you over a ski program. But honestly, if you're looking for a ski college, anything in Boston isn't for you. I live there and skiing is way too far away, and even when you get there the skiing isn't too great. Go out west and do it right!

I recommend Western State University, I went there and skied over a hundred days every year. Some years I got close to 130 and still graduated on time. If you're looking for a degree while skiing as much as possible it's a tough school to beat.
