Greyhound. It's usually about $15 and I believe it leaves at 2 different times during the day. You can pretty much have as much stuff as you need.

There is a shuttle that runs from the airport to the downtown denver transit hub and I believe that is $9.

I've done this multiple times. The people on the bus scare me a little, but it's sooooo much cheaper and pretty much just as fast.

Almost forgot, I've had some decent luck with the rideshare section of craigslist. You usually need 2 days for that to work though.

But honestly, If you shoot me a message when you're coming into Denver and trying to get to Breck I could possibly help you out. If you got a ride into denver on the greyhound (my apartment is almost next to the station), I am headed to breck/key/vail area every week just about.

Talk to people on your flight and hope someone is local and offers you a ride into town. Men aren't that friendly and helpful stick to ladies. Ive got mad rides on planes from people sitting near me.


Id go for a ride to that greyhound station suggested in the thread if you can get it.


Always try for a ride from a stranger never ask just talk about how you both are getting wherever from the airport and be charming. Remember too airport parking is expensive as fuck the ride is coming from whoever is picking up the nice lady who wants to help you out so try and steer conversation towards that person to make it more likely your new friend asks them to drive a stranger.


Last trip I took was to Prague for a wedding and I not only got a ride in from the airport but also made ski friends to ski with in the alps!


What about not flying to Denver and just rocking the greyhound the entire way? How far you coming from? If you have a shit ton of gear I'd consider this.

I've done this before, it does work very well as long as your plane's arrival time matches up well with when the Greyhound Bus leaves. The Greyhound dumps you foo at Frisco Station, and from there you can catch Summit County's free buses to anywhere else you need to go. The Summit Stage is chill about you hauling tons of baggage on the bus too (the Summit Stage is chill about pretty much everything). When I did it we posted up in the back of the bus because then all of your crap will be out of everyone else's way as they get on and off.

Buy your bus tickets early, it's cheaper and I have seen them sell out. Just make sure you look at the Denver city bus timetables and give yourself plenty of time to get to the Greyhound station.

Keep in mind DIA is a bitch. I'm on a Vail-Denver rideshare group on Facebook and all these jackbags want to be picked up at-brought to DIA. Now I realize that's the situation that most people are in, but driving to DIA is more of a hassle than driving to the mountains itself.

Why because it's on the outskirts of town? It's easy to get to, theres a goddamn 4 lane highway right to the terminal.
