Replying to Umm....we hit a hawk

so me and my friends were driving to baker like a month ago and i was sitting shotgun and i looked on the side of the road and there was a red tail hawk(thats what i think it was) in the ditch and it jumped up and started to fly when we were in front of it and it turned away from the suburban we were in and started to fly away and we caught up to it because the driver didn't see it and it hit right infront of me on the windshield and just before we hit it i was like 'there's a hawk' totally calm the driver didn't really hear me, then we hit it and it made a loud thud and all the girls in the car started screaming and a dude yelled and teh hawk like flipped a few times and flew off. it was nuts. everyone was just like 'holy shit' and i was like 'weird, how many times in your life will you hit a hawk with a suburban and see it fly off, actually how many times in your life will you hit a hawk wiht your car.' it was nuts.
