what do you think of my sweet new setup?

I got a pair of '03 Atomic Tweaks mounted w/ Salomon s811 bindings for Christmas. These are my first skis ever so also my first twin tip. I'm thinking they'll be great for me as I learn to jib and stuff and I'm not good enough to see a difference in a few mm in the waist or other little things like that. Just wondering what you all think of them though?

pretty good for a first ski, but next time go indie, 4FRNT Armada Line Liberty. But still you did a good job just cuz u got skis and not a snowboard.

they are good skis, but they are pretty stiff, so they might be a little tricky to learn on (stiff skis arnt all that forgiving). other than the fact that they really arnt a begginer ski, they are great.

nice setup dude. the tweaks are awesome skis. the salomon bindings are really light and stuff, i just hope they work out better for you than they did for me. i personally don't like them, pre-released a lot. But nice for your first set.

if you think it is a 'sweet new setup' you already think highly of your new skis, by asking people what they think of it indicates two things,
1. You are a poser
2. You are also very insecure
i hope every post from now on in rags on your skis because that setup is pretty shit. Old tweaks + shitty salomon bindings is not a goot combination. If you're going to ride with salomon bindings why not ride with s912s?

chill out dude. its just a kid whos pyshced on his new setup. shure it isnt the3 newest, best shit, but it aint bad. and if he was a poser, hed be talkin about his new t hall pros, head to toe oakley gedup, and fks 185 bindings. ill agree, salomon bindings arnt the greatest, but whatever. you prolly wont be riding hard enough to break them, but hopefully you dont have problems with prereleasing.

I have tweaks also mounted with some p12 jibs. They are a great ski. Pretty stiff and not really aimed at the beginners but as long as you arnt tiny you shouldnt have too hard of a time. They are a strong ski to as far as chipping/breaking goes.

nice tweaks are damn sweet skis, very light and pretty stiff ski which is good landing big jumps.. new neox bindings are pretty nice also

good luck with them..i think i did the same thing when i was like 12 and got twins...even though my setup was even worse than that...marker 6.2 bindings on the grey and orange airstyles
