GnarcoYou can also cut out the broken edge and cut out the torn up base. Get a new piece of edge and screw it into the base. Use a piece of new base (cut out using a stencil or somehow match it with the shape of the cut out base) and epoxy that in place of where you cut it out. Grind down the edge and new base to be flush with the rest of the ski. This is hard to do at home but if you have access to the right tools, it will be the most durable and longer lasting repair.
Would this fix hold up against railing when done right under foot on park skis? I have a similar problem as op (posted in the maintenance thread) and I was considering getting this done but I figured it probably would get pulled out pretty quickly anyways but since I don't have any experience with it so I might be wrong.
I just filled my core shot with epoxy but I'm expecting the edge to get pulled out pretty quickly so might have it done in the future if it will last a while..
