Binding durability and Din question

So long as the din setting you use is in the range of a binding it will be safe to use.

Which bindings have have you used previously and what issues have you had with them? There are so many good bindings, so without knowin what level you require it's hard to advise you well. What I mean is if your breaking fks 140's your going to need a much differnt binding then if say you had just broken squires or z10's for example.

15 DIN Tyrolias are your best bet. Metal construction, DIN range from 5-15, easily replaceable brakes.

Did din 8-9 on jester pro would be the same as a Din 8-9 on marker squire or griffon ?

Also what's the difference between a fixed AFD and the gliding AFD ?

The DIn for a Jester is the same DIN for any other binding (its an industry standard). Biggest difference will be durability, weight, and use of materials in production. Jesters will be able to hold up to more abuse than a griffon or squire.

A gliding AFD slides outward from a neutral position as the boot moves out of the toe piece.
