What kind of pie should i make?

Im in charge of making a pie for thanksgiving, someones making a pumpkin, and another a sweet potato something or other. I wanna make something either super different/crazy or something just plain delicious. I wanna use real good quality ingredients and do a legit job. I was thinking sweet cherry pie or blueberry but thats kinda standard, though they do taste good. and I was thinking like a cookie pie with some kind of filling, (cookie crust and top, whatever kind of filling) maybe something with cornbread?

Any ideas?

Make a chocolate pie. They are easy and super good.

All you need is a pre-made crust(I usually go with tenderflake or similar. Image below)


Then get some of the jell-o pudding(The kind you have to cook not instant)



and you also need cool whip(any whipped cream will do, but cool whip I find works the best.)

all you do is cook jello poke holes in pie crust cook the pie crust all the way. Insert cooked jello fill about half way up pie crust. Wait for it to cool in the fridge then add cool whip. other toppings you can do is like chocolate sprinkles or whatever you want to do. Personally I used to get some actual chocolate and blend it in a blender till you get like little chocolaty balls of goodness. make sure to sprinkle it fresh out of the blender cause if you let it sit for a bit it can all stick back together in about a couple of minutes.

That cookie pie gave me an idea, I think im gonna do cookie crust and top, and fill it with marshmallows and chocolate or nutella. or maybe some kind of oatmeal rasin chocolate filling.

A pie with a cookie crust and meringue as the filling. Make sure to quadruple the meringue recipe though for maximum fluffy goodness.
