RubberSoul(despite being the best skier on this site)
Just goes to show that sometimes natural talent beats out study and knowledge.
Obviously the type of skis you use would impact whether or not you could make it work, but if you had, say, a slalom ski with a ~15 m turn radius on one foot, and a surfy pow ski with a ~25 m turn radius on the other foot, it would be pretty tough. The slalom ski would always want to keep the edge engaged and finish a turn, and the pow ski would want to get off edge and either slarve/slash or just go straight.
Judging on how big of a difference I can feel when on a dedicated carving ski vs. a twin tip, and how the skis want to turn, I just don't think it would work. If you had an AR7 on one foot, and a Volkl Wall on the other, you'd probably be alright, but using two skis that are designed to do different things probably wouldn't really work.
