liberty new school

I have a chance to buy brand new liberty new school skis for $150 (last years model).

Anybody with experience with this ski. I would either use this to replace my touring setup (a nice new pair of naxos on a pair of beat up '00 1080s), or possibly for a dedicated park setup.

How light is it in comparison to the old 1080? How do they do on powder? I would ideally want something a bit wider for powder but I am only 150lbs, and am afraid that I wider ski will be too heavy?

Wouldnt get last years. Plus theyre really ugly.

I'd get them. There only 150 bucks thats a pretty decent deal for last years ski.

werent they like old line darksides, i thought that jason guy from line said the old libertys were old crappy lines. But then again its 150 bucks so...

they are hella stiff....2 people i know have em...id go for the new libertys...prolyl some of the most quality skis.

they are exactly like the 1260's... made in the same press actually... and they are some of the softest skis ever actully
