El_Barto.ugh...99% of the people buying shit on these days are just buying it for the sake of buying shit. If you need something, more power to you. Everyone else can fuck right off
.Hugo.i was going to buy you a gift on black friday, but i guess if thats how you feel about it i wont
El_Barto.see my *necessity* disclaimer in the original post. I will now be expecting my gift
VinnieFahh, that time of year to thankful for what you have

Bart.ManI encourage each of you to consider black Friday critically and sceptically. It really is a low point in the already disgustingly shameful consumer society we live in. Do you REALLY need to buy these things that you normally wouldn't look twice at just because they've taken X% off of the original price? Not to mention it's often done at great risk to yourself and others, and for what? So you can help already rich companies get more money?
Just think about what you've been told to do on black Friday, and how objectively greedy and backward it is. Please, be better than the hysteria.
I like the view from up here on this soap box. I may hang out a while.
Peter.jiberish is having a filthy sale starting on black friday going to cyber monday

TheTrapI'm looking for a deal on a laptop if anyone can help me out. Brand doesn't necessarily matter, but to narrow it down I'm looking for exact or similar specs:
Price Point: 800-1100
- 15-16"
- 300+ GB HD (SSD would be superb)
- 4-8 GB Ram
- Aluminum Case
- 2.2 to 2.6 GHz
- Disk Drive (Very optional, not a major factor at all)
- Ideally with an i7 or something comparable, i5 will work as well
- Dedicated graphics card would be ideal, but again not a determining factor
I know this is asking for quite the steal, but I've been looking and if anybody has seen any deals please let me know through a message.
Wheatreally a mbp 15" sounds right for you
TheTrapThat was my exact thought, unfortunately Apple has a habit of bending customers backwards and fucking their bank accounts dry. i'm praying i can find a deal but its tough because Apple has such rigid pricing
.Rybak.Have you thought of a 13" my friend has that and i really cant tell the difference between that and the 15.
TheTrapI'm actually taking a look at two 13" Macbooks now, just having some trouble deciding between them.

Can't quiet figure out which one will be better for video editing, the specs are remarkably close and each has it's pros and cons, feel free to weigh in, it's a tough decision.
[tk]I edit videos a lot and I got the 15" with the anti glare screen. So glad I went with the bigger option I look at 13" and they just seem so tiny to me. Maybe it's just what I'm used to but I would suggest 15"
eazy.I guess I should've mentioned I have a 22" external monitor arranged in a workstation type environment. Of course I'll have to pay for the adapters, but I find the price of those to be miniscule compared to the extra 2" by Apple's standards.
