Small company's

Anyone know some small ski and outerwear company's. I saw some guy skiing fat-ypus skis and I never heard of that brand. It's not that big but I do t think I can get sponsored by them. I'm looking for a small company to send a request to.

Just because the company is small, it does not mean you're just gonna instantly sponsored. A lot of times they have small budgets and can't afford to have a really big team

You should post a dill edit, I mean, if you want to be sponsored you have to produce a certain amount of media anyway. Read David Lesh's sponsorship thread as well and you'll realize getting sponsored is tons of hard work, it's not just about sending some footage to company's.

Im not looking to going pro or anything and I cant go pro anyway Im not that good. I ski for fun and all the years I've been skiing i bought my clothes and skis full price. I ski because i like it and have fun doing it if I get sponsored i wont ask for free or discount stuff I would rep and promote the brand. If I make an edit showing who i am on and off the mountian and throw down some solid tricks do you think i can get sponsored by a not so popular company?

Delorme lives in Breck though and the founders of Fat-y-pus are from Breck. Probably helped that he was a local kid. And look at what happened as Delorme got more publicity and hype, Fat-y-pus could no longer pay him or support him with their limited budget.

As an example of small companies with small budgets, look at Charlie Owens. Icelantic doesnt have a huge budget for athletes and couldnt support him in the way he wanted so he left for J skis. Smaller companies put more money in marketing and production.

If you want discounted equipment and to help promote a brand, get a job at a shop or working for a company. Easy way to meet reps. Also, offer to help out at demos or events and sometimes companies will give you free stuff or eventually hire you on.

If you ski for fun why do you care about sponsorship?
