Replying to Jmo's in the pnw
Hey all. So the season finally started up here in whistler and it just wanted to share my thoughts on the skis. I considered making a review of them seeing how I am in the gear program but considering they are a discontinued ski I thought I would wait until I hopefully get on some kartels to give a full review.
But I wanted to just say how god the jmo was today. Before today I had only skied the jmo in Scotland and France and I did not find it suited those conditions that well, today however on whistler the were so much fun. The difference in the snow is the biggest factor I think. Here the snow is heavy and grips well. The skis carved hard even on the ice and the flex felt perfect for jibbing around the mountain.
Really the reason I wanted to make this post was I was simply amazed how much of a difference the location made to how the skis worked. So when buying skis I really think it's important to look into both how you ski but also where you ski. Hopefully we can show this even more in our reviews this season but for now I just wanted to commend on3p for making a great pnw ski.
