Every time I slow down a shot, it sounds really weird. For instance, in the edit below, when the kid does a 2 pretz switch, I kept the sound. Is there a reason it sounds like this. how do i fix it?

homestarYeah you can fix it. What editing software are you using?
.JakeTheDoge.Final Cut Pro. old torrent version
homestarI have hardly any experience with Final Cut but I'll give this a try. I think you should be able to deselect "preserve pitch" in the retime drop down menu after you've put the clip in slow motion. This will shift the pitch to a lower frequency and it will sound a lot better.
.JakeTheDoge.I don't see it, Ill try some stuff though thanks man
homestarWhich version of Final Cut Pro?
homestar"Preserve pitch" is visible second from the bottom of the retime menu 44 seconds into this video https://vimeo.com/25943284
make sure it's unchecked and you should be good
