Well, I can't return em now. I'm stuck with shitty 2005 salomon 1080's that (boots,bindings,skis) I got for cheap. Should have asked around first.

no, those skis really sucked its just they were the only twins widely available at the time. the thing with salomon stuff, is that it doesnt last. the skis break in very fast, and if you think they are soft now, wait til the end of the season. those skis loose all thier pop, the ulta thin edges dont hold up on rails, and the bindings arent all that reliable. i would have to agree with your friends. if you can geet your money back on trade in, do it. get a pair of anything else. some suggestions: line chronics, 1260s (the ew ones are stiffer. i personally liked the olde ones), k2 fujatives or Pes, rossi scratchs.

Way to late to trade em in because I got them for so cheap, guess Im gonna have to stick with em for this season. Next season though, I'll be sure to get better shit.

^ The only problem I've had with my Salomon gear is the binding being quite shite. The boots are amazing, stepping into those is like an orgasm for my feet. And to be fair the skis aren't THAT bad. Most of last season they were great to ride on. They held an edge better than most of the other skis I've demoed. But by the last month of the season last year they really started to get lifeless. There is a reason why the Salomon team riders have wooden cores in there skis.

^ thats a little overboard. ive had more comfortable boots. but they do work well. good flex. the bindings suck tho. remember to adjust the wings tho.

skis are pretty good bindings okay not very reliable though boots are sick some of the best freestyle boots out
