sure the comp makes it look good but its kinda like running on ice really. with the "skiboards" being that short you better be able to spin and grind well. my opinion but w/e doesnt really bother me.

its not because of the bindings.
and the crappy "snowblade" bindings are the same system you find on alpine race snowboards. short skis (110cm and under) dont have enough torqueing power to pose a big risk for the rider, and you can change them for releasable bindings.
and no they are not banned in france

skiboards are possibly the best thing to learn before you get on skis, especially when learning rails. it teaches you balance and not to land in the backseat. i switched to skis 2 years ago and its much better, but park was soooooooooo easy after being on skiboards.
