Rode VideoMic Pro Reviews

So I'm looking into buying the Rode VideoMic Pro due to it having the amazing decibel changing feature. Right now I have the Opteka Vm-100 and I'm not too impressed by it. I'm just wondering if there are any other mics out there for that price point that really compete with it. Looking to upgrade soon. Also, if there are audio tests with any other mics that would be appreciated.
