So I was teaching a class on the weekend and at the end of it i had a student come up to me and hand me a 5 dollar bill. He said his mom told him to give it to me. I was pretty surprised because I've never gotten one before. Then a handful of the other students parents noticed this and they all gave me tips as well. So It brought up a thought. Should ski instructors be tipped more often? Or is it just greedy and not something that would be normal? After all, we do get some low wages in the industry and a tip at the end of the lesson is always great to cheer you up as well as a courteous thing to do.
