Ipods in the Cold

Today we were all sitting in the lodge talking about Ipods in cold weather.

Ironically, just after we started talking Evan's (Evaroni) Mini Ipod froze up, and none of the bottons worked

I thought it was pretty funny until about 10 minutes later my 15gig Ipod froze up

Its never happened to me before

^^well we were skiing for a good bit before we went inside
so i doubt it will die on a short trip in the cold

yeah i had the same problem...now i just take one of those handwarmer things and put it in my pocket with my ipod...the screen turns all funny colors in the cold too. did anyone else see that happen?

the screen on mine always freezes and the buttosn partially dont work but if i push them liek 10 times they eventually work

last season i left mine in my car by accidnet one night and when i went to get it in the morning the screen contrast was all fucked up and now the battery meter lasts for like 30 minutes but the battery is still full

thats a pain. ipods put out a decent amount of heat, im shure an inulated pocket would be enough to keep it warm. but i hate that, the cold makes the battery die in like 1 hr. take um inside, and they are fine. all lithium ion batteries do it, like in cell phones.
